This product doesn't work on my 2011 ford f250 for the button functions even though it says it's compatible

Product definitely works. You do have to make sure to have a hood switch and a few things to keep in mind you have to program key. Also if Ford is 2014 and younger, you have to go to either a locksmith or the dealer to have them unlocked program remote start that will cost you mostly 45 bucks at a locksmith or maybe 150 at a dealership there’s no way around it unless you computer with software

Directions were a little off, the main thing is:1. Get the keys cut - did mine at Home Depot for free (no guarantees since it isn’t their key)2. Program the keys so you can start the vehicle. I had two working keys so this was easy - find it on YouTube.3. Attach the Antenna/unit and cable - don’t wire tie it until everything works. Had to wiggle the cable a bit to get it to click in/stay put.4. Use ForScan to make two changes, one to enable the remote start (it was already in the truck, just needed to be enabled!) and one to enable the remote start on the vehicle settings menu. Read about this and how to use it on the ForScan site.5. Program the new fobs to have the buttons work. Again, this is easily found on YouTube.6. Test both fobs. Sometime you have to press lock before pressing the remote start 2x button.6. Wire tie the antenna/unit to the spot it’s supposed to sit just inside behind the glove box. That’s it! Works like a champ.

I had both keys cut and was able to program the buttons on both but was only able to program one key to start the vehicle. I believe one of the keys is defective and I’m waiting for the company to get back to me. I don’t want to return the antenna since it’s installed and I have already cut both keys so only want one replacement key.

Super quick install. Had keys cut at Lowe’s. Followed a couple videos online to turn on remote start and program the keys to work the ignition since I only had one key. Used the 8 off on trick to program buttons.

Not working. Installed. Programed keys start truck and all buttons work locks and panic. Used forscan to set remote start to enabled and added the instrument cluster view.Checked the hood latch. Remote start not operational. Anyone have suggestions?Update: was able to get it to work. Works as expected.

After paying money to have installed then programmed found out it will not work. Basically got one new key as the second key wouldn’t even program. Don’t waste your money

It works but it’s hard to read through all the ForScan blogs to find out how to program this thing. Also can’t find a locksmith who will cut the keys but that’s not the kits fault.

can't beat a remote start for $55.00 plus another $6 to have the 2 keys cut. You will need access to Forscan or have dealer enable remote start for you. I only gave 3 stars for tech support because a very important step was left out -- as long as you have 2 original keys you can program these to start the truck per their directions with no problem. However the lock/unlock/remote start/panic buttons will not work until you program them as well. You need to open and close the door cycle key 8 times leave in on position hit any button on each new fob and then turn key off. Then it all worksHopefully the keys hold up and I havent check the range yet but really just want to start in my driveway 95% of the time so range isnt that important. IF it is to you, you can buy an extended length cable for the antennae and mount it between the headliner and roof instead of behind the glovebox. the cable is like $10.00
