This blade set is pretty solid. I've been using it for a while now to cut up branches (mostly from oak trees, they have some tough wood). It works well enough and can handle the occasional knot without too much trouble. One time, I even used one of these blades to chop through a small metal fence post when I was clearing out an area - it went right through it like butter! The blades fit my Milwaukee saw perfectly, no issues there. Overall, this set has been great for chopping limbs into bin-sized pieces and doing some other random cutting tasks around the yard.I'd definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a reliable blade set that can handle various materials and brands of saws. They're easy to use and don't require any special maintenance (which is always nice). Just make sure you have a good sharpening setup though, because like all blades, these will eventually dull out. But hey, at least they come in a pack of 5 so you can rotate them while one's being sharpened!

These cut trees and I haven't even had to change blades yet. I have a lot of trees and bushes. The blade has been working for 2 seasons so far and still is sharp. I would buy again if these EVER give out.

I bought these for cutting up a downed tree. We had a huge windstorm come through our neighborhood in July. The straight lines winds were 70mph, and took down several trees in my backyard. So the tree companies wanted $3,000 to cut down what was left of a tree and remove the downed tree. I just bought these blades and put them in my sawzall. The blades are very sharp. They fit very well in my dewalt sawzall. I could easily cut any branch that was 3 inches or less in diameter. So this was great to walk and just lop off the smaller branches. It was so easy that my kids could do this no problem. Way better with these blades than a 2 handed clippers. I probably cut several hundred small branches with these blades. We processed the tree quickly and got it out of our yard by ourselves, so we didn’t have to pay thousands of dollars for a tree company to do it. I would say that these blades are a great deal if you have a downed tree in your yard, and you don’t want to spend thousands to hire a tree company.

OK, the last two times I needed pruning/arborist blades I bought "Diablo" (now Freud) blades and paid nearly twice as much as these Kowoods. After using these orange blades on different woods I find that they're not more durable than the Diablo -- but they're about HALF the price, and they do the job eventually. That's good value; I'll take it. I'd still like to find a pruning blade that holds its sharpness longer, but until then -- Kowood it is.

I bought these to use for trimming some branches on some trees and shrubs in the yard. They cut prety well initially but didn't seem to last as long as another brand I had used previously. For the price I think they are a decent value but I will look for some blades made with better life in the future.
