These are quite durable and should last you two or three times longer than the cheaper blades. Makes these blades worth the extra initial cost. They do a good job and do not bend or break easily.

I watched a mechanic try to cut a bearing that was stuck onto a car and he went through four different blades with no results so I decided to give him one of these Milwaukee blades since I had ordered a few extra, and he cut through that bearing in less than five minutes and said he’s never gonna use any other blade other than this one. They are amazing!!

Used quite a few of these to remove old water and steam pipes (up to 3" dia) in places where an abrasive cut-off wheel won't fit. Used with cutting oil, in a plug-in Sawzall, they do the job much better than conventional fine-tooth steel metal-cutting blades. If you see sparks, you're pushing it too hard. Use oil and take your time. Will not work on cast iron drain pipe. No blade will reliably cut them. You have to use an abrasive wheel, an old-school chain-type pipe cutter, or break them with a hammer.

These blades are some sort of witchcraft. They just cut and cut and cut. They also stay suprisingly cool while using them in some pretty thick stock. So one drawback is they do take a little longer to make a cut compared to traditional blades but they last about 15 times as long. Besides holding up well and staying cool, they leave a beautiful edge with minimal burs.

These blades are great. They last a really long time, can cut metal/nails and keep going, and tear through wood. Once you've tried the carbide tipped blades, you'll never go back to a normal bi-metal blade. Even though they cost more than a bi-metal, they last many times longer than a regular blade, and cut much faster, saving your a lot of time. When they eventually break, it will likely be at the end of the tang where it inserts into the saw. Too much twisting or binding of the blade is the death knell. I never actually wore out the carbide- they always snap off.My only complaint on this order is the packaging is odd- maybe the seller is repackaging from larger lots? Usually these come in a sturdier package with some manufacturer label. Hopefully these aren't counterfeit.

There was a deal on this set of 3 and I bought it for just north of $15. Single blades cost this much!Freud/Diablo blades, and their sandpaper, are one of the best for performance and life at an affordable price. (See some of the YT video reviews.)I had a large shed door to fix after recent high winds tore it off. This blade made short work of cutting out the broken 2 x 4 where the hinge was, cutting through the screws and nails like a hot knife through butter, as well as cutting the hinges. Other than the paint coming off, the blade was untouched and the teeth were still perfect. The blade design has a higher tpi for metal on the half of the blade nearer the tool. In my case, that didn't help on the 2 x 4 as the screws had to be cut by the farther end of the blade since it was 9" long and access was limited. The higher tpi was still able to cut the screws though. When pruning trees, the fastest cut is at the far end where the lower tpi is. The cut speed was noticeably slower using the fine teeth. Of course, you can't rest the pivoting shoe against the wood to reduce vibration to use that lower tpi with this design, which is a little awkward. It's a combination blade, so you have some compromises for a "one blade fits all" design. These are good blades!
