I use this for removing diecast rivets. Cuts through diecast (zamak) like butter. Zero damage to the cutting head. Did not try on steel.

They cut good enough,but the spring broke after just a few uses. Can't find replacement springs anywhere and the company I bought them from refuses to send or sell me any. Won't buy from this company anymore.

These are the perfect size for my crafting! They are small enough to get in between diecuts to snip apart, but mighty enough to get through some thicker metal too!!

I have purchased another tool from this manufacturer and the quality for the price was quite good however on this pair they did a a poor job at machining the rear section of the cutter head my pair should not have passed QC as I consider this a defective pair. (See Pic) there is clearly a notch on the left that was miss cut into the cutter head creating a possible weak point. Note: I am not saying this is a bad tool or that the one you get will be defective, it is actually quite sharp, but I am saying the QC needs work at least on the one I was sent.I saw no way to contact the company directly or I would have done that before leaving my review, but based on this set of cutters I can't give it a good review because of bad QC. Which really I found disappointing because the other type of cutter I purchased was well made and had much tighter QC.If it was not for this defect I would have given it a higher rating. Overall the tools from this company seem quite good that's why I am quite surprised, as both tools I have purchased have no play in the joint yet still move smoothly which is fantastic at this price point ... I think if they can make sure the QC on these is a lot tighter then this is a great pair of cutters to have for model makers or precision electronics work.Note: to manufacturer if they see this you should include an easy way to make contact if one has an issue like this with one of your tools.UPDATE … Originally I gave this 3 Stars but I have finally got in touch with manufacturer and I’m giving it 5 Stars as they are replacing the defective item with a new one and the customer service has been excellent …I can better recommend this brand now that I know they do stand behind there tools.

I use these snips for watch crown stem trimming when watch modding. After 3 watch stems the jaws are showing wear/damage. I don’t think these will last too long. Better suited for softer materials than a hard watch stem like wires, plastic, etc.

I needed a set of these end nippers but they had to cut flush and the flush ones were all pretty pricey but I decided on these and I was blown away on how great they are, they cut flush and edges don’t overlap and they cut so close it’s amazing. I’ve been using them to cut rc car bodies which are polycarbonate and not too forgiving on tools but these cut right through it and still feel like new. You won’t be disappointed
