I have a cub cadet 1864. I had to modify the wiring harness for it but it seems to work fine otherwise. Came with several extra parts and some "questionable" instructions.Overall, for a hundred bucks, seems pretty good. I'll update this if it fails but it seems well made so I doubt that'll happen anytime soon.

The part is not exactly like the part being replaced and instructions (I believe) assumed that you knew more than the average DIYer but with some trial and error and common sense solutioning it worked!

This is radically different than the one that was on the Cu Cadet 1864 near 30 year old tractor/mower but it fit like a glove. Everything I needed was included, bolted right up and actually freed up a little space under the hood. If it just last half as long as the original (29 years) I’ll be more than happy.There could have been some more instructions in the box such as burnishing the unit but you can get all the details off of YouTube.
