I purchased this for my daughter's birthday. She is becoming quite the creative one so receiving this gift made her day. She was really excited to dive but we were missing several pieces: instruction book, sketchbook, sewing needles, etc.I requested a replacement kit, which was delivered with some of the same items missing.As my titled mentioned, the idea is great but missing so many pieces really hampers the experience.

I am a little disappointed just because I wanted 600 and not 400 pieces haha. So this gets one star less! But overall the product is good, my daughter will love it, it comes with the fabrics and you can use other supplies/fabric you may have

there is SO much in this little kit! if you or someone you know likes or wants to learn to make doll clothing, this kit provides a great assortment of useful tools and materials to create adorable outfits! i love all the little extras for added detail like rhinestone trim, pom poms, buttons, and the fabrics are all very cute! the retractable rainbow measuring tape is adorable and very useful over the standard measuring tapes you often get with sewing kits.my only complaint about this kit is that the written instructions might be hard to follow, especially for children. however there are a huge number of youtube tutorial videos out there so if any struggles arise, there are alternate ways of finding instructions.in short, this kit is great, but be aware that it really is more about providing the materials to sew more than teaching how to sew! if that’s what you’re looking for, this is a great choice!

So for the record, I bought this for my niece so she could have fun learning some hands on sewing skills. I’m seriously impressed by this kit: TONS of fabric options, little sewing kits, and two different mannequins so you can work on more than one project at once. I’m so excited to see her creativity and confidence grow. Everything came in super quickly, and packed very safely. The scissors and needles included are very much kid friendly, and I think anyone would have a blast with their daughter playing with this.

This sewing box is perfect for keeping our 7 year old entertained (even our 12 year old jumped in to help!). The kit was really cute and fun and (BONUS!) easy to use such that my girls could even figure it out on their own. Everything you need included. I was so grateful for a respite of time to get work done myself while my girls entertained themselves with this kit. I even jumped in a bit at times to join in the fun and enjoyed doing it myself with them. My girls loved especially making clothes for their dolls. I think it would also be a great kit to pack for vacation rainy days or even as a gift (I'm thinking especially for girls who like dolls).
