Attention
- When wiring, pay attention to the polarity of each wiring harness, and is equipped with a dedicated electric window regulator switch.
- When installing, each link fastener should be fastened and reliable, and washers should be added. The grooves of the guide rails should be kept clean, lubricated, and free of dust layers to prevent them from being seized into the motor during operation in the future.
- At the same time, the front, rear, left and right electric glass lifters have their own directionality, and they cannot be mixed during installation.
Maintenance and Repair of Window Regulator
- During regular maintenance of the electric lifter, all moving parts of the motor should be cleaned. The shaft sleeve of the transmission part should be filled or replaced with lubricating grease. The wear marks and carbon deposits on the surface of the motor steering gear should be sanded with No. 00 sandpaper. Diamond gauze should not be used.

Seems like a better design of the cables than original regulator, however, the plastic that holds the clip for the window broke after 5 months and perhaps a dozen times using the window to crack for fresh air. Therefore I can't recommend.

Easy to install took less than an hour to install the window regulator probably 15 minutes if you have had your door panel off before

As jeep liberty window regulators are junk from the factory, this is a reasonably priced replacement, and install is easier than factory unit...
