I recently was building a project that needed to ensure I set items at a 45 degree angle and this worked great. The red slider bar helped a lot vs my old 90 degree that did not have that. I am not sure if this would be great for daily framing but works great for the occasional DIY project. Only thing it was missing was instructions on how to use.The included pencil is an added bonus and is a big upgrade over my super old woodworking pencil I have used for years. It has multiple tips depending on what surface you are working with (my old was just a regular pencil so I just hoped for the best)

Works great seems a little gimmick but I do like the level on it instead of having to carry an extra tool.

This has already become my go-to woodworking tool. And the pencil is a really nice tool as well.

The depth ruler came in handy and the notches for scribing are accurate. The red slider bar makes for a nice guide.Since these are the only instructions that come in the box, I'm trying to figure out why the slider comes off at all.Using the bevel guage is not very accurate & difficult to set. As a circle maker, the square doesn't have a hole on the corner, although in the picture it looks like there's something holding it to the work peace. I might just drill my own hole. One reviewer said the level was detachable. I don't see how. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase.

At $26, this is a no-brainer... if you already know how to use it. It comes with NO instructions.I've used framing squares, but this one has the extra bottom piece that's removable, it has the 2 pegs, the removable ruler, etc. I can kind of tell how to use these by looking at the images in the listing, but I shouldn't have to use those to figure out how to use the extras.It seems sturdy and well-made and I like the pencil, but no instructions is a 2 point deduction.

Not great if you're out framing and using this every day. The parts get in the way and it's more of a use for someone who keeps a square in the truck. The level is a nice feature. The metal piece that is magnetized in does fall off if dropped and the locking pins loosen on their own with use. Other than that, not a bad tool at all
