Three of these connectors had failed on our existing shutters. After digging out the piece that was stuck in the side of the slat, I was able to snap in the replacement. In order to connect it to the old "T" design connectors, I used nippers to snip the old piece to fit. Before snapping it in I used a box cutter to get rid of the excess for the very top piece. The material is pretty dense which makes it not too easy to cut through but should hold up well to normal use.

This did not end up being the exact piece we needed. However that is not the fault of the seller so no stars deducted. Iām sure it works just fine on the blinds it is meant for. Be careful because there was just a minuscule difference between this and the piece we actually needed.
