Vent cover itself appears well made, but no installation screws included and springs are very wimpy compared to old one. Levelers don’t close all the way even after several adjustments

First, they did not provide any screws. Six needed; zero in the package. Second the instructions are poorly written in several languages. Third, they have part of the operating hardware on the OUTSIDE of the frame so that the cutout needs to larger than the approximately 29.25-in. An ill-conceived design. The lovers themselves seem to be OK and are mostly quiet.

Product came in a cardboard box with not even plastic wrapped around it. Both sides of the box were open, no instructions or hardware. Frame is bent and has dings all over it. Terrible seller and product quality. Buyer beware!!!!!

Finally fixed the opening for my Whole House Fan. Converted round opening to square with a little framing and this nice louver.

This product was very flimsy and had missing plastic pins holding the fins in place. Time would not allow me to return it for another, so I replaced the plastic pins with screws.
