Too difficult to hoop, had to have another help to hoop the item. Very tight, best to soak in hot water 2-3 minutes to enable hooping fabric or screen. Very nice look. Really like the look of the hoop!

The design is nice, wood grain looks okay but is a bit flat in colour, no dimension. There is also absolutely no tension when a piece of linen is in the hoop. The pieces are not tight enough and the outer ring actually slips off pretty easily. Quite disappointing.

I writing this review utterly frustrated working with these. The oval ones were fine but the round ones are impossible to work with. They are way too tight and very very hard to separate. I had to heat some water to soak the to separate and then tried to put them back together and they won’t go back together until I heat up more water and soak the outer ring again. The other ring is way too small. Save your self time and frustration and order for a different seller. These aren’t it.

Love the look of these, but dear god they are so hard to take apart and put the material in. They are bendable to a certain extent but the plastic on one of mine broke when i tried to put it back in the rubbery part. Almost not worth the effort!

These hoops are very nice. The outside ring is rubbery and will not snag your fabric. They hold your work really snug, too. I recommend using them for work that is wholly contained inside the hoop so that you don't have to take the ring off and move it around. The hoop is pretty tight and might deform any stitches that end up under it, especially embroidery, but also cross stitch, too. Have fun!

Adds a little exta to the hard work you put in. Easy to hang.

It was perfect for what I needed it for! Lightweight, and not super hard to put on. If you’re not used to these types of frames you may need to have someone help hold the canvas in place while you put the outward ring on. Once on you can easily pull the canvas to tighten. Make sure you leave the canvas piece as is and not trim until after it’s in the frame as you want it! Trimming the sides should be the very last step.

Your project looks good in them but they're hard and to put in there and they look good

These hoops are absolutely perfect, I love them. They look rustic and charming, but them being made of the flexible sturdy material is even better than real wood. They pull the fabric taught and hold in place very well while embroidering. And I love that the size as well, just be aware when purchasing that these are only 4 inches, perfect mini projects because I often lose interest in things mid way through if the project takes too long.
