Can receive 3 times as many channels with amplifier on.In my installation I have a splitter concurrent with Cable TV service, and if the Usb power to the antenna is plugged in when the TV is on cable TV the Amplifier in the Antenna generates a lot of noise and puts sparkles on the screen. Unplugging the USB to the antenna solves this problem.You may want to purchase a USB switch to make this easier.

This product is bogus. Picked up 31 Channels with it. Pulled an old one out of the closet and it picked up 76. Mediocre is too kind of word. Junk

It does not work in my area. I did a channel search twice and tried a manuel input and could not get one channel. I will be sending them back.

Still does not allowed all my channels to come in good rather I lay it down hang it high are put it in the window over the window channel freezes are signal very weak do not recommend this!

I live in Brooklyn and placed this on a south-facing window. I get all the major networks , plus a ton of random channels you have never heard of. If you live near broadcast stations, it’s a no-brainer. If you are in a rural area, I’m not sure how many channels you will get.
