I had some of these that I bought from either Best Buy many many years ago, but over the course of some moves some of them got lost. I bought these because they looked almost identical to the ones I already had, which pleases my OCD (even though no one but me would see them).I also chose these because it's crazy to me to buy the other type where the sheath around the cable is metal as that is just begging for interference if something happens to touch the outer metal sheath. The rubber-ish sheath they provided is tight enough to stay put when put in place, but not so tight that it impossible to slide off (you have to work at it but I would rather this than the alternative).The fit two different size speaker wires I was using (long story), so I can attest to their working for both thicker and thinner cables without issue.So if you are on the fence about these or a metal sheath version, choose these. If you are looking for this type of connector and they all look the same, this brand is as good if not better than those that used to be sold in Best Buy back in the day.

Work exactly as expected. Fit fine in both the regular-sized binding posts on an old stereo receiver I have and the slightly smaller posts on some of my newer equipment and speakers (including a Fosi Audio V3). Had to deduct a star because one of mine came without the set screw, but luckily for me I only needed 4 pair anyway.

I had a problem with an audio channel going out due to an unreliable speaker connection on my receiver. It had the option of using banana plugs for the connection, and once I switched to these banana plugs, my audio connection is solid.
