I gave it 3 stars because it’s a pot so it holds oil. Besides that, the thermometer doesn’t work. So I basically bought a pot with a lid.

I like the drip catcher featured in this fryer. We’ve fried chicken wings and egg rolls and used the catcher. I love that it can drip back into the pot. The grates allow me to hold my eggrolls and keep it warm until the next batch is ready.

Durable stainless steel, thick bottom plate, has a small pouring spot at the back, the slats on the lid for draining is very handy, as well has the thermometer that can be used with the lid closed while flying. No splattering or losing heat when checking the temp.

I am not sure how safe this is going to be. The metal of the pot seems very thin, especially for how hot it is supposed to get for frying. I am afraid to use it. And there were no instructions, so I do not know how to use the lid.

We’ve been using the 3.4L Deep Fryer Pot to make homemade French fries, and overall, it's been a great addition to our kitchen. The size is perfect for making a good batch without being too bulky, and the 304 stainless steel construction feels sturdy and durable. The temperature gauge is accurate, which is essential for frying at the right temperature and getting the perfect crispy fries. The pot heats up quickly and evenly, which is great when you're in a rush.The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is that the pot could be a bit deeper to accommodate larger batches, but that’s a minor issue. For our family’s needs, it works perfectly for frying French fries and other small items. If you're cutting back on eating out and want to make restaurant-quality fries at home, I definitely recommend this deep fryer pot!

Never deep fried before. Got this to try it because of the low cost and integrated thermometer. Also dishwasher safe is important for me, not gonna hand clean a greasy pot. Mainly for tortillas or chicken wings. Mentionables:- Does the job well.- Love the pouring spout to eliminate the grease. I usually pour it into a water bottle (put a little water in it to cool the oil) before putting it in the trash to prevent spillage.- Love the integrated thermometer, temperature is critical for some foods.- Smaller than I expected, so look at the measurements closely to make sure it is adequate for you, like a lot of products, it may appear larger in the marketing photos.- A warning sticker on the pot was a real pain to remove, I think the manufacturer could do better here.- The instructions were in very poor English, but I've seen worse.
