The rope is very strong, but also very heavy. Good to swing and lower large trees, but hard to climb with because it's heavy.

Very sturdy rope. Extremely stiff out of the box. Can hold the end straight out nearly 3 feet. Strong but stiffness tends to make knotting extremely difficult. Gets better with use. If you buy this rope be very careful not to slide your bare hand down the length of the rope. Evidently during manufacture, small, very sharp burrs of the sheathing material can stick out and they WILL make you bleed. Just wear leather gloves until it gets worn and broken in. But remain cautious. It got me twice.

I've roped about 10 trees with this (60+ feet tall, some 30" diameter at the base) and pulled on this rope pretty hard with an F250. It is holding up very well. This is a strong rope, excellent quality.
