So these are pretty nice Hinges. Thick. I used them to replace some rusted out hinges on a Shed at my Beach House. The shed is exposed to salt water air year round along with wind and rain. So far the hinges are holding up great, no rust and working well for what i used them for. These remind me of hinges used on boats behind fold down seats and probably what they are meant for honestly but im happy with them even after a few months.

Thick Stainless Steel Casting – Highly Polished – WRONG screws - I am reviewing the pair of cast Stainless Steel 4" x 1.5" inch 4 Pack hinges. I have been wanting a pair of high quality box hinges for a long time. These are high enough quality that I can now finally make that box out of that 100+ year old oak barn wood I have been saving for decades. Now I have to find matching latches that are as high a quality as these hinges. There is a little bit of slop in the joints but not enough to matter on a box if you install the hinges to pull sideways against the slop in each hinge.- The included screws are not up to the higher quality of the latches. The screws are Phillips Flat head and they are too small for the countersink holes and drop down too deep. Of course, you must carefully choose the fastener screw type and size for your particular application. I will be using straight slotted oval head screws. The countersunk screw head holes are not quite perfectly uniform depth but close enough that only a very particular carpenter will notice. - This type of hinge can be face mounted without inlaying. - These hinges, and screws, are indeed made out of some kind of Stainless Steel alloy. The website photographs do not adequately show the high polish of these hinges. There are no casting and finishing flaws so the manufacturer has high Quality Control inspection standards.
