This is a set of three self coiling cables. Each cable has a secure loop at each end. The cable is made from high strength steel wires and has a weather and wear resistant PVC coating that is very flexible. The self coiling cable is very compact and easy to store. Any lock (not included) can be used to secure briefcases, backpacks, toolboxes and more to table legs. The cable is 1 meter long.Would recommend these to anyone.

...very lightweight and not very long when expanded. (See photo)These metal coils might be useful for keeping smaller personal items together but I wouldn't use them as a security measure. A set of wire snips or heavyweight scissors would cut through these.Limited uses and not worth more than $15 or less for the set.😕

Good for keeping helmets or something attached to the main bike lock, or to keep luggage or bags somewhat more secure. Pretty stretchy action, also great for badges or key collections for security use etc.

I probably should have looked closer at the ad for these as they are very small. Perhaps you can hook some keys on them or use it for a reminder to remove something on your motorcycle (e.g., wheel lock) but to secure something to avoid theft, these are too small. I could cut them with pliers. I would NOT use these for something of value or a bicycle. You might be able to use them to secure the seat post on a bicycle and maybe the tires if using a good accompanying lock just to keep nuisance thieves, opportunists, or homeless people from taking parts off your bike, but even that is questionable and you still need another lock.

These are much smaller/thinner than I expected. They would help protect something if the thief had no knife or pliers or any type of cutter, but that is about it. So it would prevent thefts of convenience/impulse, but otherwise these wouldn't hold up to much brute force. Depending on the value of what you are trying to protect, it might be good (a tennis, squash, badminton racket?) but I wouldn't use this on anything much bigger like a bike! Suitcases might be a realistic application, but don't hive high expectations for serious security.

I initially chose this trio of coiled cables with the plan to loop it around a porch pillar and then around part of my patio furniture with a padlock to prevent anyone from trying to quickly grab it or the wind from blowing it around. Unfortunately I found that even when pulling it as straight as possible I still couldn’t quite fit it where I wanted it. I did wind up thinking of these again later on when trying to find a convenient way to hold my fence gate open when needed because the latch was denting my downspout due to being thrust open repeatedly in order to walk through the gate with anything in my hands. The loops at each end fit perfectly around the gate’s latch and since the cable is so thin, it could be pulled behind a downspout as an anchor. Since the coiling keeps the cable from dangling loosely around, the cable looks fairly discreet when not in use. It has some good coil strength to hold a heavier fence door securely open (with a bit of movement potential left but not much) and since it’s weather-resistant I’m not concerned about it rusting or damaging the surrounding surfaces. Overall, these may not have wound up being used the way I initially intended but I am quite happy with how I wound up using them anyway. I’d recommend them for anything that requires some security (less from a safety standpoint and more from a restricted movement lens).
