So the design is cute and I just realized the black is what is dyed on the white fabric - well, screen pressed because the other side is white. The material is a very thin canvas. It’s snug for most books. The design is 2 sided with a zipper pocket and a thin ribbon wrist strap.The seams seem loose - (see photo) but it might be a result of the screen print on the material because I can see white fabric or stitching at the seams.The most annoying part is that the waterproof lining is thin and inverts every time I remove my book so i need to tuck it back in. It’s thin and makes a crinkling sound. I need to mess with it to make sure it doesn’t get caught in the zipper when i close it. I’d be more impressed if the lining was thicker and tacked down. It’s true to size but too small for most things for me. I’m disappointed.

Striking looking print on a canvas bag. The main pocket is lined so items slip in and out easily. My original idea was to use this for my journal that is 8 x 5.5in, about an inch thick with a big coil binding. And then pens and accessories fit in the front pocket. The size is good for romance novels and trade paperbacks but a little tight on my hardcover nonfiction books.Very sturdy. Since there are two bags, I am using the second for laptop accessories. Both bags are easy to slip in a tote or backpack with my laptop.

So cute and thick. Very good quality too. Plus the size fits even a longer book and I love that.
