This Hanamiya Na Book Sleeve Classic Flower Botanical comes in so many different pretty designs, it was hard to pick one. I opted for the Multicolour 1201, and am really glad I did. It reminds me a lot of a William Morris print. In person, the colors seem a little less muted than the listing photos, especially the orange details, but I like it. It’s just the perfect size to hold an iPad with leather case in the main zippered section, and then a notebook in the outer pocket. Also great for holding books, notes, cards, journals, sketchpads, etc. The zipper works well, and it’s lined with some sort of smooth white mesh-like fabric that seems water resistant. I’ll be using it inside a larger tote. Very glad I ordered this.

I like the look and feel of this book sleeve. The color is rich, the outside is woven of small strips (I think it's actually plastic, but not plasticky feeling), and the zipper pocket is lined so I'll have some protection for my journals. I got this for a B5 sized hardcover journal that fits just perfectly, and I was able to slide a traveler's size notebook in the front pocket, too, so it would fit a phone, tablet, or maybe a slim pencil case without trouble. Keeps my journals together and unwrinkled when I stow them in my backpack. The outer pocket is not lined and has no closure, so anything extra won't have quite the same protection as the inside, but I don't think even the inside is waterproof. Water resistant, maybe? Not waterproof. I'd check, but I don't want to spill on good books!

I bought the blue style specifically because I loved how delicate and simple the lines were. Looking at the real thing, the lines are much thicker and more muddled than the advertisement pictures displayed. The color is very very bright and does not replicate the more muted tones in the advertisement either. The sleeve is also looser than I expected, and it seems that if I were to put something in it, the object would fall right out. The size of it is about the same size as a Lulu bag so it was also a bit bigger than what I expected. At least it’s big enough to fit all paperbacks and hardcovers. Unfortunately though, I do think I will be returning it.
