These stands are pretty light weight but they seem pretty solid. They collapse down easily after you got through it a few times. They are easily holding my 10" x 10" LED panel light and feel sturdy. The legs spread out fare enough to keep the very stable. The cases for the are really just sleeves but they work and will probably keep the stands from getting scratched up. Overall I think they are a good choice for the price.
