I used one of these in my toilet and it works great! It was only a couple minute repair. Just pull the old one out with pliers, clean the flange and flapper, then slide the new one in! That simple and now my toilet still hods water like it should!!!

This replaced an OEM seal that didn't last very long. We did find out that it is important to keep the seal lubricated with something like petroleum jelly to keep it from drying out. This seal installed very easily and fits perfectly. Since we've replaced this--over six months--we've had no problems with maintaining a tight seal with the ball valve. It survived a really hot summer in storage and still is working well. We'll find out how it does in the winter shortly.

I saw a few reviews that said that said to pay the much higher price for genuine Dometic seals. I figured what the heck even if they don't work I'm no worse off as my current seals were already leaking down overnight. Ordered these and replaced my current 310 seals. As with the genuine Dometic's I coated the seals with a small amount of silicon grease on the bottom surface. Did a flush and checked the next morning. The toilets were both holding water. The seals have now been in roughly a month and still holding water. I can't say at this point if they will hold up as long as OEM but would have to think if maintained properly there's no reason they won't.
