I bought these swim shorts for my son, and they are fantastic! The quick-dry fabric keeps him comfortable, and the compression liner adds extra support and prevents chafing. My 5 year old daughter wanted some swim shorts with pockets -- she needs to be able to get in and out of her swimsuit on her own at camp, and for a little kid a typical girls swimsuit can be really tricky for a little kid to work with on their own, and almost never have pockets, and don't offer as much sun coverage as a boy shorts... So we went looking for UPF-protected swim shirts and swim trunks for her -- and found that boy-style items (like the swim shorts here) offered a greater variety of options than the equivalent searches for girl swimsuits of this type. So we got her some "boy" swim shirts and shorts, and they fit her fine and she's very pleased with them! I thought she'd go for the pink shorts, but she actually preferred the blue dinosaur shorts for her new trunks, paired with a bright swim shirt. It's funny how opinionated about cloths a little a kid can get! But I agree with her that there are times for cute unicorn dresses and there are other times for shorts with pockets -- and I'm glad that she's starting to make some sensible decisions about that haha.

My four year old grandson was happy that these swim shorts did not chaff the inside of his upper legs, even while wearing his floaties that has a strap between his legs. Goal met!

AugRing 2-16 Years Boys Swim Trunks with Compression Liner Toddler Boy Swim Shorts run small. My son is 13 and wears a 14-16 in some clothes, these are a tad small, They fit him in the waist but everywhere else is small, They are not really baggy and they run short. He is 5'9 (yes you read that right) and if a 16 is too small they need to have a larger size in this. They wash well and have not faded with the few times he has worn them. He says they are comfortable and has no complaints.

My son likes these swim shorts. The green but also kinda rainbow design he loves.The waist can easily be tightened by the string. They were a tad big on my son, he's not quite 6, but they were comfortable and stayed on once tied.The under layer is comfortable. He finds the shorts style is softer and doesn't chafe him.The outer shorts are long enough on him and look good.

These shorts fit better than others. There is no worry about their bits getting stuck in any netting and the compression helps keep things in place. They are a little loose around the leg, but not in a bad way.

My kids like these swim trunks, especially the sharks! The sizing is maybe just a tag big, but the elastic is good and the drawstrings work very well. I like that the drawstring isn't difficult to tie because they are of a large diameter. My kid also likes the compression shorts and pockets. Hopefully, they last a long time!
