It locked securely to the intake manifold side, but would not fully seat into the valve cover. I had to get an OEM hose to make sure there was no unmetered air flowing to the air intake.

Yes, I broke my old one in my R56s 2009 mini cooper. This was a perfect fit, shipped and arrived timely. Was an easy install, but still take time when installing.

This hose fit directly and was very easy to install. Take off your resonator and feed it under the intake manifold. The hose can get brittle over time so if you suspect an air leak, take it out for inspection and swap it out as needed.

Before purchasing, make sure you have the original part number from the dealer. Some hoses look the same but vary slightly, which will not allow for a proper fit or connection.Good product, good value.
