We bought these for a 3 week trip to East Asia in the summer. Both the beige and gray hats fit well and looked attractive, and worked to keep the sun out of our eyes and off of our necks. The beige one held up but the gray one had the strap of the adjustable buckle detatch from one side in a matter of days even though we did not use the buckle. One side of tge chin strap detached about a week in. We weren't rough with our hats at all. I'd only recommend this pair of hats to someone staying close to home who could easily return their hats to Amazon (we bought our hats a few months in advance of our trips so we can't return them). Three stars is for the hat that still is intact.

I have worn these to walk on the beach, fish on Lake Ontario and hike in the woods and I like the comfort breathability, sun shade for my eyes. At the end of each trip I through them. in the washing machine with towels and they came out ready to use. The draw cord on the back was perfect for fish out of a boat and the hat stayed on even at 35 knots.

Bought these for a cruise, to help with sun protection, and they worked well. The adjustable chin strap came in very handy when the wind kicked up. The material is good quality and the mesh section helped regulate the temperature- my head never felt hot!

Got these for my husband after I had a skin cancer removed from my scalp, I got a similar hat for women. I love mine and wasn’t sure since he wears baseball caps when outside, but he says these are much cooler and provide much more sun protection and he doesn’t have to keep adjusting it. Looks good. Washes up well and doesn’t take up as much space as baseball caps.

I purchased these for fishing. They provide ample protection, are light weight and you can wash them. The value for the two hats was the best I found and I'm impressed by the quality. I've been using one a couple times a week for over a year and have been really pleased with the quality and sun protection, but particularly the design which allows air to enter through the open fabric in the center designed for air flow.

we use these hats for the garden, which is both sunny and windy.. they are perfect.. well stitched, light weight, brim just the right width to block sun without getting in the way while working, chin strap not annoying. Strangely they look good on both me, 77 year old grandma, and my son, 43 year old hunky farmer. I'm sure they are great for travelling, would take up small space in luggage.

Good for blocking the sun, bought theee for my kids for our trip to Costa Rica recently and thought they seemed good. My daughter wore hers for the third time and there was a hole by the seam near the top, not happy with the quality but they served their purpose.

Perfect for SoCal sun. Large brim, packable, and 2 for under $20! The colors a bit different from the website—a warm tan and dark gray. Both worked for me.

This might be the best value purchase I've ever made (Two for $20 now). I LOVE these hats! The brim is wider than most and covers my much-too-tanned neck. The brim holds its shape and looks good on. It's easily packable in a suitcase, keeping the brim open and collapsing the top. I suppose you could fold the brim but it might not regain its shape. Buy these before they come to their senses and charge three times as much.

The size for head and under the chin easy to adjust and that you get two different colors is great. Brim at front at top of head over forehead and shading eyes is perfect and under hairline at back of neck. Very light on the head and keeps sunlight off completely. The hat is cool with ventilating band. Fantastic deal for your money.Highly recommend

I ordered 10 of these hats for a family fishing trip and they were a hit! They are supposed to be one size fits all, but the sizes varied slightly which actually worked well for our group. The draw cord around the head works well to tighten the fit, and the drawstring under the chin held it on during boat rides. I was a bit nervous ordering these at first, but they were exactly what I was hoping for, light-weight but kept the sun off, and looked so cute in the boats!
