What a waste of time and money! With an outside antenna that is nothing special I get 47 channels very well. Bought this for a friend to install in a new apartment. So I tried it first at my location. I GOT 8 DIGITIZED (poor quality) CHANNELS THAT WOULD FADE COMPLETELY AWAY, AND NO AUDIO ON ANY OF THEM. Would have given minus stars if available.

In the Austin, TX area there is one national network that I cannot receive reliably with my existing indoor antenna. I thought this antenna withers bold claims would solve my problem but had the same results, other than that it was easy to install and it worked but it seemed cheaply made.

Cheap and no more effective than my old antenna. Returning

This thing is a piece of junk. It pulled in exactly 6 channels and most of those were flakey. I positioned the unit right by the window without any interference. I ran 3 scans. I bought this because my attic antenna (pulls 70 stations) gets a little flakey with Joliet stations (I'm just west of Chicago) This antenna boasts 1800 miles. I doubt it would pull in a station at 1800 feet! I thought something must be a miss with so many perfect reviews.I'm returning this piece of junk today!
