2, Attach a 300-Ohm static discharge unit (lightning arrestor) or a 75-Ohm grounding block to the antenna’s lead-in cable as close as possible to the point where the cable enters the house.

3, Attach the grounding wire to the lead-in cable’s grounding unit and run the wire to the central building ground.

Acceptable central building ground points may include:

Grounded interior metal cold water pipe within 1.5m/ 5 feet of the point where it enters the building Grounded metallic service raceway

Grounded electrical service equipment enclosure

And if you’re looking for a cable-style TV schedule, "TitanTV" is a free Web service that lists local programming.

Please Note:

1. For flatscreen HDTVs, please check the TV's manual to make sure the TV has a built-in tuner for receiving over-the-air broadcast, and make sure this tuner can receive HD signals or else it will not be able to receive and watch HD channels.

2.Retune your TV and/or digital box from time to time to ensure you are receiving all available services. Retuning takes only a few minutes using the remote control.

3.Antenna signal strength can vary depending on distance from the tower, terrain, and weather. Reposition the antenna in a different location if needed. It is best for the antenna to be in line of sight with the TV tower(s) and avoid obstructions. Always re-scan for channels after moving the antenna.

4. If your TV has no built-in tuner, you can add an ATSC digital converter box to receive the HD signal.

Outstanding! Antenna works great. Customer service is even better.. I had an issue (my fault) and the antenna had an email on it so I figured I would give that a try (knowing it would probably be useless) and someone responded within 10 minutes. Absolutely incredible customer service. They will help you with a wealth of knowledge, best directions to aim, height and so much more. Thanks to whoever was helping me. You guys are awesome.

I have gone through many antennas over the last couple years. Trying to find one that does well but don't break the bank. I went through 3 antennas within the last couple months. I was fooled a couple times by ratings and items being described as 200+ mile range, ect. I was even suckered into buying an indoor/outdoor antenna that boasted 1000 mile range. I bought it because I thought if it could get 60 miles I would be happy. I was wrong. The thing barely went 25 miles, getting 15-20 channels. Ugh! I returned it. In one of my pics I show 3 types of the last entennas I bought. The long one did pretty well. Got me around 50 channels. The other 2 got me around 30 to 40 channels. This antenna kicks butt for the size and price! It gets me between 64-86 channels depending where it's aimed. Of course not all the channels came in perfect. When it showed 86 channels I must have been in between towers, catching partial signals from 2 directions. I found the sweet spot for the stations I want to watch and that scanned in at 64 channels. I am using an old tv booster and using the coax from an old dish that's been on my house since I bought it 5 years ago. I bet if I added a new booster and new coax I would get even better reception. Anyways, I am pleased with this antenna. Only thing I wish it had was a built in rotator. I must have climbed on my 2 story roof 50 times making adjustments and rescanning tv. I am 60+ and it gets tireing, lol! But worth it to be a cord cutter. Also I live in a small town in oregon surrounded by power lines and poles. The city of Eugene is about 65 miles from me and Salem is 15 miles away and Portland, having the most towers is 55+ miles in opposite direction, so trying to get the different channels from multiple cities is a royal pain. I have not found an antenna yet that pulls in the elusive MeTV-toon channel. Wiki says there is a tower in Portland, Salem, and Eugene, but the channel never shows up no matter what antenna I have used, and the direction I aim for. Oh well. Can't win them all! Lol. I will keep trying! 5 stars for this antenna in my humble opinion.

I bought this to try and help out an old family friend. My friend is a disabled Army vet, lost his antenna during a recent storm. I got this one for him...Assembly was fairly easy, directions were not. Just had to look at the pic on the box.Quality control on these must be non-existent. Pressed together components were not. Final assembly resulted in a twisted, warped looking thing that no amount of loosening, twisting and re tightening could fix. It looked like it had already been storm wrecked before it went up.It did pick up mid range UHF signals, which was all my friend really wanted.Would I recommend this antenna to anyone? _NO_ It's junk.

This new antenna replaced a 40 year old roof-top unit that came with the house when we bought it 10 years ago. We use it for two of our three TVs and while it worked it offered poor reception. The new PIBIDI OTV Antenna has greatly increased the reception and we are pleased with its performance. I have to say the assembly of the unit out of the box requires patience putting it together. Just take your time and orient the antenna parts with the pictorial guide provided and it will come together without much trouble. One final note, this antenna is being used to receive signals from TV towers not more than 40 miles away so I cannot speak to the long range ability to pull in stations that are advertised for this antenna. All that being said , I am very happy with this purchase.

I am 65 to 70 miles from the nearest broadcast towers. I am able to get almost every channel available. The only ones I don't get are in the lower numbers. I get 5-5 but not 5-1, 5-2, 5-3, or 5-4. It was fairly easy to assemble, and seem like it will last longer than other antennas I've had previously. IO am using a small signal amplifier that I already had, not a very powerful one. I have this mounted on a 10 foot pole on top of my 2 story house. Like any other antenna, it needs to be mounted at least 30 feet above the ground for maximum range.

The unit was fairly easy to assemble and appears to be well built. I was looking forward to more channels then my old cheap antenna that had gotten damaged by the hurricane. Not so. This antenna actually picked up less channels than my old cheap broken antenna. I aimed it several different degrees but no luck. Maybe an antenna booster will help. I will say that the channels that I could pick up are clean and clear with no pixels. Would I buy another? No. I will try a booster and if that doesn't work I will cut my loss and take it down and buy another El cheapo like I had before.
