It was not usable in my application of a single point laser. Rotation of the base is completely loose and cannot be held in place.

I'm a small GC renovating mostly kitchens and baths. The laser and pole combo are a game changer from setting cabinets to setting tile. Even setting up to cut all joist to slip in a pocket beam, this set up has quickly become our new standard.
