Works Great. I bought it for crafts and it's well worth it.

This laser level/alignment tool works very well. The lines are nice and bright and easy to see and in addition to having a manual mode so that you can project lines at any angle you want, it has an automatic mode that allows the internal laser to automatically level itself so that as long as you can set it up within 3 degrees of level to start with, it will find exact level and project perfectly level and plumb lines for you to work from.My only complaint, and the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is that the mounting bracket that this tool comes with does not seem to be designed with mounting to anything other than ferrous metal in mind. Want to use the included mount to attach the tool to a steel beam? It's got you covered with some nice, strong magnets in the mount to keep it securely where you want it. Want to attach the tool to wood, plaster, drywall, concrete, etc., anything non magnetic? It's not going to be that easy. You're going to have to rig up a way to hang the tool so that it hangs within 3 degrees of level and projects the lines exactly where you actually need them to be. There are a couple of small, finishing nail sized holes in the mounting bracket that comes with the tool but they don't seem to be intended for nailing the bracket to a wall or anything because they're very close together, there were no nails or screws included with package, and the manual doesn't say anything about the holes or mounting the tool to non ferrous surfaces so I have to assume that they're just incidentally there and not intended to be functional.Still, that complaint aside, it's a very good value for the price.

I'm a pool player and I want to learn to shoot straight. This laser is helping me position balls on the table precisely where I want them in order to practice.

It works. The laser is very bright. The magnet mount is okay, but you really need a tripod. but it's biggest downfall is that it's hard to use because there is no bubble to tell you if the line is level. The case is not flush either so you can just put a level ontop of the unit for to level. Spend more money and get laser level with bubble.

An excellent leveler. I attach it to a tripod and use it for everything from hanging art to handiwork around the house. Works like a charm. Comes in a nice zip-up case.

The level line emits from the device some distance above the surface the level is resting on. That distance should be included in the instructions, but it is not. There is a target plate that can be set up on a second plane some distance away to see where the line hits. The level line should be marked on the target plate with measurements above and below to make measuring the variation from level super simple. Instead, the level line falls at slightly off from any specific measurement using either the metric or standard unit ruler. Seems like no one actually bothered to use this device before going to production with it.

I'm very happy with this laser. It is brighter & just as accurate as my more expensive Bosch self leveling laser level with the additional benefits of locking the pendulum to have a laser line at any angle (my Bosch is either locked with the laser off or unlocked with the laser on), as well as having a 10khz pulse mode to use with an electronic laser receiver. Definitely feel like I got good value for the money, & also being very functional ( it will function for me just as well as a much more expensive rotary laser level, I don't need 360° coverage)
