I ordered 2 aftermarket cables before ordering the OEM cable. The 2 aftermarket cables did not fit my 30" Toro Time Master mover although the description said they were compatible. Save yourself some time and trouble and get the Toro OEM cable. It is much longer than the others.

Not too much to say. Much more costly than the clones, but several of those have consistent bad comment son the durability of the all-important plastic lever - which is the weak link. So... it may be 3X the price, but i'd get this one, and did. Install is easy if you have the tools and are mechanically minded. Adjusting the engagement of the transmission (which is lost when you install this cable) is the trickiest part, IMO.

Ordered two of these sets at the same time. Both arrived in the same package which was intact, secure etc. Upon opening them, I find neither contain the actual cable! Judging by comments below, it seems to be a common issue. This is not what you would expect from a brand like Toro! Even more frustrating when you buy OEM and spend the extra money to do so. Now Iām stuck without my work equipment for an even longer time.

I watched a few YouTube videos from non-experts and found this part to be easy to install and adjust myself. It was delivered fast and on time. It feels like it will last at least as long as the original equipment. Installation was about a 30 minute job between taking off covers, removing yard debris, installation and adjusting the tightness. I would recommend anyone even remotely handy could replace their Toro blade engagement cable with just a few YouTube instructions. I would b8y again if the opportunity is there.
