The base has concentric circles stamped on the bottom. Circles increase the surface area of spaces needing sealing. This works against the ability to create a water tight seal with any adhesive when attaching to a vessel for greater stability.

Flower arrangers are a fairly standard item. Anyone who works with flowers will tell you how crucial a frog can be to a good arrangement outcome. I have used all of these in one arrangement so far--it was a Christmas arrangement with a lot of different flowers and design elements, including picks, pinecones, and pine boughs. Five frogs come in this package--four small and one large, and they helped me create the idea I wanted. They're heavy and made of copper, which I appreciate because copper helps keep greens and flowers fresher. I have only owned one frog, and having five has been and will be great.
