These clamps might be overkill, but the quality is exceptional. They are much thicker than what I usually get locally. Because of the thickness, they require a little more strength to crimp. The clamps provide a secure connection when using half inch and five eighths inch rope. I used them mostly on swing sets and play sets with rope attachments. There are no sharp edges so they are safe for this use.
