I got this because I knew it was longer than I needed. It was easy put on and to pop links off. I thought it was easy to put the lock pin in. I was able to pull the chain both directions by hand and clip the lock in place. Runs very smooth. It does not come with bike chain lubricant

This brand of bike chains has many different lengths available so there is no need to remove or add lengths. I initially bought a 116 link chain but found it was too short. I returned it and bought a 120 link chain that was a perfect fit. Also, having a master link makes the task of closing the chain a simple task without any specialized tools.

The package was weirdly broken in a very specific way so that someone could get the quick link out. Seems intentional. Chain is fine but I’m mad there is no quick link

Necesitábamos hacer unos arreglos en la bicicleta que hemos comprado de segunda mano para convertirla en bici eléctrica, con unos cambios que aún más requieren que la bici esté no sólo en buenas condiciones, sino que las piezas se sustituyan por otras de calidad más exigente.Con esta cadena hemos ido a lo seguro, nos hacía falta cambiar el palier y otras cosas, entre ellas, la cadena también.Nos ha sido fácil de montar, la hemos comprobado poniéndola a prueba, comprobando que tiene una resistencia excelente. Ponerla a prueba en esta bici, que ya le hemos montado el motor eléctrico de 1000W sin tener límite de velocidad, no es una mera prueba. Este motor puede funcionar con asistencia al pedaleo o ya directamente como un motor que se acciona con una palanquita colocada en el manillar derecho.Y así es como la hemos probado, a lo duro y en terreno de campo con gravilla, alguna que otra piedra...Son condiciones ya que la cargan de más, pero esta cadena ha podido con ello sin despeinarse. No hace falta darle más guerra, si puede con esto, podrá con el uso diario que le pretendemos dar.

Un buen sustituto para la cadena de tu bicicleta, válido para bicicletas de 6, 7 u 8 velocidades como mucho (Para 9 velocidades cambia el grosor de la cadena). Al ser de una anchura algo mayor, también el peso es un poco mayor que las de más velocidades ya que requiere de más material (unos 350 gramos en este caso y unos 300 gramos la de 9 como referente).Incluye un quicklink o conector rápido para que el montaje se realice sin problemas y la suelta para reparaciones también sea sencilla. Simplemente hay que contar los eslabones de la cadena vieja gastada y cortar la nueva con el mismo número de eslabones. Lógicamente hay que usar un tronchacadenas y unos alicates de punta fina si no se tienen los alicates de cadena para conectores rápidos.El cambio con esta cadena no es ruidoso y funciona muy bien. Viene muy bien protegida y empaquetada y con 120 eslabones que son bastantes más de los que vas a necesitar para tu bici (lógicamente tienen que sobrarte).Es perfecta para la bicicleta de mi esposa en este caso que es de 8 velocidades y el precio está muy ajustado. La recomiendo.
