I've been using those old school Zojirushi water boiler for decades and as soon as I spot this new model, I have to get it. Yes it's much smaller comparing to the old 4L boiler but it's very sleek and attractive and I don't mind to boil water everyday. It compliments my kitchen decor perfectly and I even bought a metal stand to raise it so that I can dispense water to my thermal bottle easily. It only takes 6 mins to boil 1.2L of water so it's quite fast. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

保温性が良いものでケトルみたいに早く沸くポットが欲しかったので購入。子供がやけどしないように蒸気がカットされて横にしてもこぼれないのが良いです。カルキ飛ばしがついていたら、星5つあげてました。

子どもが産まれ、ミルク作るときに必要なため購入しました。おしゃれな形で何よりコンパクトで場所を取りません。操作も水を入れたら勝手に沸かしを開始します。何より設定した温度で保温してくれるのが良いです。ちょっと高いかなぁと思っていましたが、購入して良かったです。

電気ポットの買い替えで、こちらを購入しました。今までのポットと比べて湯量は半分ですが、保温状態で水を継ぎ足して使うので不便はありません。今まで蒸気レスポットを使用してましたが、こちらはコンパクトのせいか蒸気は電気ケトル程度です。購入は電気ケトルも所持しているので迷いましたが、何時でもお湯が使えて、電気ケトルのように持ち上げなくても良いのでこちらの製品を選びました。家族３人での使用なので、我が家には丁度良いサイズで空いたスペースも有効活用できので満足してます。

My boil pot does not boil. - Internal thermostat off up to 8 degrees -I have had this device 1 week. This my 3rd pot in 20 years. I have found them great - Until I got this one. At 208 degrees my cooking thermometers says it is only about 200 degrees and at 212 degrees the cooking thermometers say it is only 205 degrees, and it NEVER boils. I sent an e-mail to Zojirushi support and they have not answered (5 days now).

I brought it with me in the suitcase when moving to a new apartment so that I can have hot water on day 1. Boils fast, dispense smoothly, and looks modern. 1.5L is a little bit small for family use but it’s nice to keep as a second hot water dispenser on the second floor!

This is the best little boiler! I have had the standard gray zojirushi 4 liter boiler for years, I believe 10 to be exact. We just remodeled our kitchen and I wanted a white one. Found this and researched it a bunch. I live in the US so I was worried about the power difference. One guy on Amazon said it worked fine but his review is only one day after he got it. So I have waited about a month to review. It’s totally fine so far. I believe the computer inside will not let it overheat and the pump motor would be the only part that is overclocking due to the 10 volt difference in our power. The motor seems to be totally fine and sounds exactly the same as my old unit so I have no concerns at all with the long term use of the unit.They make awesome well built products. I have a ten year old nero fuzzy rice maker and my old boiler was perfectly working and perfectly fine. I just wanted a more modern look. Sad they are not making this unit bigger and for their English client base yet.As far as the size, it’s way way smaller but acts quite differently than my old unit. It’s more of a hybrid boiler in my opinion. My old unit would take forever to boil and reach temp 5-10 minutes probably, so you had to make sure to refill before the morning coffee rush. This unit seems to boil in about 1-2 minutes, so if your low on water it’s such a little wait you can just fill and make your coffee/tea moments later like those fast boiling kettles. Yet then you have another few cups ready just like the other zojirushi boiler machines. I think I like the fast boiling better and the smaller footprint on the counter over my older larger unit. All in all I think it’s a superb product and am thrilled I took a chance on it and hope other people in America get some reviews on it so it’s not such a scary choice to buy.I actually tried to buy it first on eBay from Japan and the seller would not send it to me saying the power would not work and that I had to buy a large power converter first.Oh and because I have used the other boilers for years the Japanese only text does not bother me or my wife a bit because all the buttons are in the same place and function the same: unlock, dispense, and three temperature options.Hope this review helps answer all your questions, get it if you have a modern kitchen and love zojirushi!

I’ve had the white version for 2 days now and I feel I can give a quick review here since there are 0 US-based reviews. Yes, it comes in US standard socket. Yes, it works fine on the US power grid. This is in Japanese language and there’s no way to change that as the letters are printed on the device. Also, there’s no way to remove the water reservoir so you’re stuck cleaning the whole device in the sink. Others have mentioned that the device gets hot when holding near-boiling water and this is true, but many water boilers are like this so I don’t think this is a major issue long term. Finally, the power cord sticks out the back a lot—something to keep in mind. Also, it’s a quick release which I’ve found to be important because there’s no way of keeping this plugged in while not keeping the water hot. It’s a very atheistic water boiler with a smaller than average reservoir but I’m liking it so far!
