I was intrigued by the photos of the dress, and thought it might be fun for summer nights. But there were issues for me.Pros: The fabric is wonderful! It's got a nice stretch and is not that awful bathing suit material that's showing up on so many types of clothings.Fits true to size, and is comfortable.CONS:The fabric for the shoulder area is awkward -- it doesn't seem to do what it's supposed to do.The style of the dress, if you have even a slightly curvy figure, can look matronly.The fabric shows everything. If you're good with that, then it's fine. But you could see the outline of my navel.I think this could be a great dress for the right person, but I'm 5'4" 137lbs, and it looked frumpy.

Overall, I am quite happy with this dress. It's a nice, light-weight dress. The material is soft and comfortable and the construction is sound. There are no weird hems or gathering or puckering points. No loose threads. There's also a good amount of stretch to this.The fit is true to size, and with the amount of stretchiness in play, if you are between sizes, I would say go with the smaller of the two. It falls very flatteringly along the body, so you do NOT at all have to be super thin to feel comfortable and pretty in this dress.The material is also completely opaque in black, so I had no issue with my bits and bobs trying to play peek-a-boo.I did take off a star for two reasons. One is that the top is not sewn down at all, so it reaaaaally wants to roll up rather than stay folded over. Not a deal breaker, and an easy fix, but still a bit annoying. The other is pricepoint. I do feel it is a bit overpriced for the dress you get.Overall though, it really is a nice light summer dress that, with a bit of syling and maybe a few stitches or well-hidden safety pins, could easily see regular rotation. Can recommend.

wore it for a bridal shower and got so many compliments!! material is stretchy and comfortable, also pretty thick. I’m a true medium but probably could have gone with a small. loved this dress and will definitely wear it again soon!! i might even order in another color

This ZESICA Women's Off The Shoulder Maxi Dress for 2025 Summer, is a sleeveless dress that is perfect for spring/summer. A staple that comes in an array of colors to please too.I typically wear a size 10 in most clothing. I ordered a size large and I am pleased with the overall fit. I am 5'11" tall and the length is long and doesn't hit at a funny length like some dresses.I ordered the Dragon Fruit color - which online looks to be a deep magenta. The color is truly a fuchsia and not the deep pink shown online, so be aware of that.MY biggest gripe is that the fabric is thin...really thin. For anyone with a supermodel body, this dress is great BUT for those of us with a little "extra" or a few bumps/rolls this fabric will accentuate it all...SO, I'm not certain if I will keep it. I think in a darker color like black I would wear it ALL the time though. It is really soft to the touch.I like that I can wear it off the shoulders (has elastic) or on top of the shoulder. You can see some of the light gathering in my pics of the shoulder.The gathering at the waist is sewn on simply with elastic band.I'm slightly concerned it might be slightly see through too. I will handwash this dress for best results in care.

Cute dress but didn’t really have the pleats shown in the picture. More casual material than I thought, but not bad overall.
