This product is not supposed to look like Vicks vaporub. Just be aware. If it isn’t brown, it has gotten hot and separated. Easy fix, just remove the product from the tin with a putty knife and mix it up. You will see the brown part containing the grit. If you don’t do this and use it , you are basically spreading oily, greasy carrier all over your project and getting no surface polishing from the grit. Not to worry, this product is great and it will polish surfaces fine, just make sure the heat hasn’t separated the grit out. I live in the desert so I expect it separated from the heat. Photo is after mixing. Wished I thought ahead and showed it before mixing.

Works well, but overpriced. You can buy ingredients and make an abrasive paste for less than 10% of what this costs.

I used this for after sanding bowls and bottlestoppers after 320 grit. It makes it feel like I sanded up to 1000. The instructions say to use sanding sealer. I done it before and noticed no difference than using this after sanding. It leaves it very smooth and a nice sheen. I just wished the sheen lasts longer, but it's worth buying.

Easy to use. Applied to bowl after sanding, followed by finishing wax. Produced a very nice finish.

This is what I use on my lathe for pre finishing my wood products. Works like a charm.

Nice smooth finish. Easy to apply. Easy to use. Still recommend going as high as you can in sandpaper for the smoothest silkiest smooth finish possible.

I've tried a few different abrasive waxes, and this is by far the best. This is a much softer wax base, so it applies smoothly. Other products (like Pitas) can be a little more difficult to get on a rag and feel a little too sticky after they've been applied. My application method is to sand to 180 or 220, then either use a sanding sealer or just go straight to the Yorkshire Grit. I hold a cloth rag to the piece to generate enough heat/friction to get most of the wax to off, and then apply beeswax.I'd definitely recommend this to any woodturner.
