I've already used the bit on a project and it worked great. The edges were super sharp and cut cleanly. I can't wait to find another use for it.

I bought an older house that has 3 flute door casings. It is very hard to find ready made casings of correct width with 3 flutes. Eventually, I purchased this bit and found a person to mill the casings for me (38# x 8' long, 2.5" wide) in mdf. He said the bit wore well and is still usable. He pays hundreds of dollars for his bits so he was impressed with the quality of this bit at this price. The casings are beautiful and, although not exactly the same as existing moldings, they are very close. They will be in separate rooms and not right up against existing moldings so I am hopeful that no one will notice the difference. I'm very pleased with this bit.

Precise and exactly as described. Quality is more or less comparable more expensive brands (usually around 2-3x the price) for router bits. I used it to cut hundreds of loose half round dowels from a few thin sheets of oak. It worked great but does produce a good amount of push-back force, so make sure to use a quality router and safe setup that you trust. Very satisfied with this product and what I was able to make from it once I got over the learning curve.

The cutters performed well and were used on hard maple. My only complaint is that they could stand to have a longer shank. I wasn't able to place the cut as high as I really wanted it. A shank too long can be shortened, too short your screwed.

I'm pretty fond of Yonico bits. They sure aren't any Amana or Freud or Whiteside. But you also don't pay as much. If I was going to make beads all day or have some sort of production, I'd go with a better bit probably, but for one or 2 projects, this is plenty sufficient. This one cut well, there was a little tearout, but that was my fault for not burying the bit in a sacrificial fence. Otherwise, it runs true without vibration, and seems pretty sharp.

I was building a cabinet and at the same time was replacing the cheap baseboards that came w/our house. The quality of the router bits is fairly good for the price. Although not US made (loss of a star) the bits do what they intended to do. I was able to cut several hundred feet of baseboards before I had to pay to re-sharpen them. However, overall I believe that for what I needed them and for the quality they produced, this is a very good product. Both bits were heavy duty w/no apparent manufacturing or quality control issues. The radii were smooth and cutting edges were uniform and sharp. The bearings were running smoothly and I had no stuttering when I was cutting my baseboards. Unfortunately, each bit just come in a sturdy plastic bag, which makes it difficult to store them. I have a storage shelf for router bits where they are stored now to avoid damage by just having the bits laying around in a tool box. BTW: The attached picture was taken before I began using them. Obviously, the paint is peeling off rapidly when the bits are being used.

Okay, like the others reviewing here, I am surprised that these are made well and work as good as they do. The bits are cleanly made, cheap ones usually have pitted paint and shafts. These look just like my higher priced Freud ones. The carbide cutter is thick, has a clean, sharp edge, and did a good job making some fluted moldings. I can't vouch for the longevity of the blades. I haven't used them that much yet, but they 'look' like they're well made and I'm betting they hold up awhile. I'm sure they're made in China but the bearing on the top says 'Japan'.These bits are at least best for those using them occasionally, and may prove to be good for long term use. Time will tell.
