This is a really nice longboard. I’ve had it for a few weeks now and am liking it. Cruises nicely and has good control when going downhill. Only complaint is not being able to turn very sharply. Other than that it’s a fine product. Well worth the money!

I bought the board as beginner and it is still one of my favorites. The balance it good and the board took a lot of punishment without too much visible wear and tear. All in all, great introductory board.

board is solid and trucks are greats, the only problem I had with this board is the wheel bearings got stiff after a couple uses and are unable to open without wrecking the shields. great price for my first board.

Nice board. I tightened up the rear truck and kept the front one loose. It's not difficult to turn sharply, but still seems pretty sturdy. The soft wheels grip well, and I can run over small sticks when I'm going down a small hill towards the park on my street. Acorns can still stop me unless I stand a little wider when I see some lying on the ground. I road it for a couple of weeks before swapping out the bushings and bearings. That really does make a huge difference on quality of ride. My dog actually pulls me on it down to the park now, it's pretty fun. My 5 year old son has been practicing on it. He can't really kick off on his own, so I'll grab is hand and pull him then let go. It's difficult for him to turn it due to his light weight and the length of the board.

This board is fabulous! THe graphic is great, the board is super smooth to ride as well. I get decent speed on it as well. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is because I believe there are better bearings available and while I "go" on the board, it doesn't coast for all that long. But, had I never rode my sons' longboard, I would not know that other longboards existed with longer coasting abilities :) ~The mom

I love everything about the board, there's only one problem. One of the wheels makes a good amount of noise when it spins, which adds a little more friction. I had it looked at and he said it is an imperfection in the truck. I wish it was not like this, although it does not affect the performance that much but i"m also not that picky.

Great board for the price. The graphics on the bottom are very good, board rides nice and seems to be holding up to the punishment a 15 year old boy can deliver. He's had it for several months now and no signs of cracks. The price beat out all local shops!

This board is quality for the price. I bought it mostly for the design, unsure if it would meet my quality standards. I'm very impressed. I love hitting the hills and carving hard. With the right adjustments, this thing is great. I cruise around campus and can pretty much maneuver everywhere. Been riding it a week and I'm happy. I'm still using the stock wheels and bearings and they get the job done. I like speed, so I'll be upgrading but if you're interested in this board, pull the trigger you won't be disappointed.

My husband bought this for me as my first board. I love it!He explained that a Longboard is designed for long, smooth rides. No tricks! That's exactly what this board does. He says I ride "Goofy" but whatever, I've only "bit the dust" once and that's when I tried to U-ee too slowly on a single lane road. (it doesn't take a scientist to tell me about lack of speed, trajectory and too much gravity!)The low stature of the deck makes for easy balancing. There is a flat fishtail, but it contains the riser, so your stance should be position on the deck more centered. It makes up for those of us that may be a little...well, bottom-side-top-heavy. Hey, I'm no longer a knobby kneed, scrawny 11 yr old! The drop-through deck not only makes the board look more streamlined than the drop-down deck, but when my own stupid feet got in the way of themselves, it was much easier to begin proper procedures for wipe-out avoidance.I can honestly say I cannot (yet) perform the switchback turns I can picture me doing expertly in my head, but I am calmed by the fact that if I wish to attempt said switchback turns, the deck and the wheel cannot interfere with each other. Lean into next week if ya wanna...you ain't scraping! But, please refer to my incident with an attempted U-turn. Also, my husband loosened the trucks ever so slightly when it first arrived. No special tool, just a wrench. I guess this is something you must do to all new boards. They are tightened at the factory to a stiffness that is even too tight for a beginner's beginner! This allows for ease with turning and those switchbacks I only dream about.I was surprised at the ease it rode over twigs, road gators, litter, low curbs, and loose puppies running rampant in the streets. I remember "The Power of the Pebble" from when I was a scrawny, knobby-kneed 11 yr old. That fear went away with this board. I don't advise attempting any curb over 2" unless your husband kindly puts up a giant snowman, blow-up lawn decoration square in the center of your catapult destination.I was allowed to go on an extended ride recently, un-chaperoned! I took all my Sen-say (husband) taught me and headed to and from the store. I got really lucky when my Uncle drove me the up-hill direction to the store. Whew, I got to save my energy-pack there! I was excited and thought a middle-aged woman carrying a bitchin' looking New Graphics Drop Through Longboard through the Dollar Store would be cool. I also thought using the word "cool" was cool. But, alas, I got my shopping done and got to head home. I quickly realized I wished the Dollar Store sold back-packs. Oh well, let's see how well one can balance on this contraption holding objects. Really well! I cruised with utter surety!I remembered my Sen-say telling me to go fast, head straight; to slow down, start turning switchbacks. (I secretly hoped he was re-positioning Mr. Snowman) I was disappointed to learn I didn't need to perform a single switchback. Something was clearly wrong with the acceleration of my beautiful board. The whole .2 miles home I actually had to perform pushes to get me down what should have been an easy cruise. I kept uttering, "You shall not pass!" to every car behind me before every push in hopes the bigger kids would not make fun of me.Easy enough fix, I learned to loosen the axle nuts from squishing the bearings. Unfortunately, It only worked for two short rides down my practice slope. (my practice slope ends at the now permanently displayed 10' Mr. Snowman, and all his buddies)Husband says "faster" bearings would fix that. Whoa whoa!! Faster? Really husband o' mine? How much life insurance did you take out on me? Well, this is the reason I give it 4.9-Stars instead of 5-Stars...I had to replace the bearings. I was terrified. I'm a beginner of the utmost novice level one can achieve in life. Am I the only one that feels anything faster than the slugs that we kill with beer would be certain death? Or, at minimum, the necessity of gallons of Bactine for my assured road rashes. (does Amazon sell Bactine by the gallon?)I purchased what I hoped was a good deal. You get 8 bearings for about $10-$15 bucks. "Wow, if they are really good bearings, my husband can have half of them." Um...no, apparently you need 2 bearings per wheel. I did not know that. Now I do. Stop laughing. My husband thought it would be good for me to learn how to change bearings on my longboard. So easy even a middle-aged, bottom side-top heavy, road rashed wife can do it! My only disappointment in purchasing the bearings was how small they actually are. I guess size really doesn't matter. The box looked so much bigger on my computer screen. They came in what I thought was a Chiclet's box.I was worried the tools would somehow ruin my beautiful, blue wheels. They didn't and I'm happy to report I have gotten many compliments on my board and it's great looking wheels. The new bearings have added the speed I was looking for without making my new nickname: "The Flash and Burn." I thought for sure that going faster would just make me eat pavement faster, but alas, with all the practice, I am now cruising like an expert beginner. Stopping has yet to come to me. Oh, how I love you Mr. Snowman!Stopping. I wish I could tell you how easy it is to stop. I did learn a valuable lesson. Buy skater shoes. Flip-flops, Uggs, flats, boots, and slippers do NOT make for ideal stopping and pushing. The super low, even deck of this board make it quite easy to push off, unless you think you're cool pushing off Mongo style...in that case you look awkward and lack any sort of style. Isn't the point of skateboarding to be Cali-style? The tip of my board has been slammed into a few tall curbs, my husband's shin and a few loose puppies and the bamboo has not split, splintered or so much as bruised...unlike it's cool rider.Long(board) story short. This is a GREAT longboard and perfect for beginners and those that are too old to get back into skating, but wish to regardless of whether you feel "cool is a cool" word or not. Anyone that wishes to join the Cucamonga Longboard Club (not really a club!), we have our Board meetings on any given afternoon!Rip, rip...shred!Hot Tea.
