I decided to make a rag quilt and a walking foot was recommended. When the package arrived it was in it's own little box with instructions. The box said Brother on the outside. It was easy to install and works as expected. I especially love the guide. It stays in place nicely. Would recommend.

No complaints so far works great on my Brother CP6500 . Suggestion, be very careful when installing it for the fist time. Watch videos on you tube... there are several videos of how to installing a walking foot. If you don't install it correctly you can damage the foot or even your machine or it just wont work well, . I noticed while installing the walking foot the very first time it was crooked it would not sit straight.... that was because i had the angle wrong, once I slightly tilted it up in the back it went into position correctly. Patience pays off, if it doesn't look right on the machine please do not attempt to sew with it. Once it looks right and feels right by raising and lowering foot, you will be pleased with the results. Hope this helps someone:)

This presser foot is a must have for anyone who quilts or sews anything thick with their sewing machine. I use it for making craft items, such as, bowl cozies, quilted tortilla warmers, etc., in addition to lap quilts.

I have a Brother LB-6800 Project Runway Limited Edition and bought this foot to sew binding on my quilts. It was easy to install and worked like a dream. Once the walking foot was installed I was able to immediately finish the binding on my quilt. I was careful to follow the recommendation on the instructions and sewed at a slow to medium speed. I'm so happy with this purchase.

I found this foot easy to put on and take off, once I figured out how it worked. Make sure when you first put it on that you go real slow and test it, because my first try I did not get the arm properly affixed and it fell off. After that initial snafu, though, I was able to use it multiple days for dozens and dozens of yards without any breaking or jamming of any kind. I was working with bridal satin and brocade, and I really don't think I could have done the project without a walking foot.I have a small brother sewing machine.

The price was such a bargain then in my local store by about 11 dollars. I should be lucky though my sister has a vikeing and her foot set her back about 40 plus dollars. I had my print manual included with my machine some may not have this anymore, but the book illustrates in 5 steps how to attach the walking foot and how to unattached in 4 steps. My work on pillows has gone up from 15 mins on a small pillow to about 5 mins now that I have a foot that will move the fabric and keep it together fairly smoothly.
