Silly, i know, but once i found 'blue staples,' in about 2010, there was no going back ! 😂 They work better, & aren't as difficult to remove.

Disappointed. The black paint coating on these staples flakes off easily and immediately when staples. End result looks sloppy.

The paint will flake off while using which can jam your stapler. Other than that the black is unique and what I was looking for.

I just received the staples last week and really haven't had a chance to use them yet. However, they do look exactly like the ones that I currently have so I'm sure they'll work just fine. After all, they are only staples, slightly costly ones though. They are the color I wanted so I'm very happy about that. As silly as it seems I read quite a few reviews from others that indicated the staples came broken into little pieces leaving them totally unusable and other reviews stating the color flaked off once the staples were released from the stapler and the final review I read was the staples were only colored on the tops and the rest of it was silver - if I wanted silver that's what I would have bought. I tried scraping the color off of the staples with my fingernails and it didn't come off so they should be good.
