used as a SXS blower, worked great for a few months, it got wet and quit working. will have to fins a more water resistant unit

I connected this fan to an outside wall and angled dust port under a drawer on my workbench to vent dangerous fumes and fine particle outside away from my face. The fan by itself is moderately loud but got very loud when venting through a flex hose and the dust chute. I might to have to move it to the outside of the wall. The diameter unfortunately does not fit the 4" shop vacuum flex hoses. Had to make adapters for that. There is a difference between dryer vent 4" and shop vac 4" which is inconvenient. The cfm is quite good and comparable to the central vac I was using before. About the same noise level.

This product did meat description, but the blower fan didn’t last long at all before it gave out. Not worth the money by any means only lasted a couple months

Without anything connected to it, this blower tested 4.36 amps, 244 CFM, and 77.2 DBA. It is a good product if your only requirement is air flow. It it has less than 1” of static pressure it performs poorly. Unlike a similar priced blower on Amazon, it provides no documentation showing you its static pressure/CFM curve.I tried to use this blower with an in- line air filter. The filter resulted in a relatively low duct static pressure of .89” H2O. The blower would only provide 40CFM of air while drawing 3.67 A of current.Fortunately, Amazon sells another similarly priced 12V blower which draws air through my filter at 193 CFM while only drawing 2.70 A of current.

I mean it really blows. It's just loud enough that I can hear it when I turn it on, so I know know I'm venting all bilge fumes. Plastic housing is thicker than most of the other cheap blowers. I'm happy, happy, happy.
