Our founders, Jen and Farzan, dreamed of a world free of plastic bags and in 2017 created Lotus Sustainables to enhance everyday experiences and protect the planet they love. I now have three sets of these bags. One I purchased myself; one was a gift at Christmas and when I went to use my bags at Aldi, i realized that they did not fit the cart I went back to read reviews and found that the larger bags fit the Aldi carts so I purchased those. As I am trying to be more environmentally conscious, I love the fact that I am limiting the amount of plastic that comes into my home. I also love that with my Walmart + app, I can fill my bags as I shop and it is a breeze to check out!

Used them for the first time.i bought 3 sets for people for Christmas.. issues1) the bags are just mesh bottom not material ! Not impressed for the price to just have mesh2) there is the annoying strap on largest bag that you use to wrap all bags together (long) so if you just take that bag in the store the strap just drags on the floor ( we actually cut it off for that annoying issue .not sure how they figured that was a good idea ITS NOT..3) the bags only work in carts that are all deep carts not the carts in many stores that are 2 level like lococos and metro etc so you have to just keep bags on the,side until check out which is no big deal but want to give a full honest optionPositiveStitching is really good strong fabricI would never spent that much on them again because of the mesh bottomUpdate each person that I bought for,and .yself have,taken the poles out of all bags because they don't fit on all carts and are just annoying .Also it's the 1 set that has mesh on all bottoms but 1 bag why mesh ?? Not a long lasting material .( ordered 2 sets of one colour 1 set of the,other colour)I would,say for all these reasons don't buy these over priced bags

I am giving these trolly bags 4 stars, I love them (for sure get the 3pc trolly set with solid bottom not mesh)However, the rods are way too long for the carts in my store.I plan to alter them if I can or get some other rods from my craft store and use them instead as they hang of 5 inches on each side and it's been a hassle trying to allow folks to get around me while in a store.I decided to place them vertical and not horizontal which works OK but the bags don't stay open until filled so it's frustrating.That's why they get 4 stars and not 5.Great bags, highly recommend just rods are too long

I first bought the set that comes with 4 bags and I really liked them, but the rods that hold them up in the cart weren’t long enough for the carts at Aldi (which I do the majority of my weekly shop at), which was frustrating. I like to set up my bags when I get the cart, add items as I go, and then use a hand scanner to check out if available. That way I have everything still sorted and in the correct place for the trip home, as well as knowing what needs to be put away first etc. So I decided to go ahead and try this set as well. Perfect size for Aldi, they hold up to being packed up the brim without any damage, and fold back together early when I’m done. We’ve also used the bags for other situations, like bringing stuff to the pool or to a potluck style cook out and they are really handy. I usually keep them in my trunk so unexpected quick stops don’t cause plastic bag use. And the insulation is top notch! We had to stop at a grocery store 45 min away on a day that was over 90 degrees outside and our aircon in the car had quit completely, but when we got home everything in the insulated bag was still just as cold as it had been in the store! I even pulled out my digital thermometer because I didn’t believe it but it read 34 degrees (all was cooler items, nothing frozen that would help keep it cold)! I’m sure the trunk where the bag had been was well over 100! I’ve tried lots of other reusable bags before and these are the only ones that have held up to the abuse my family dishes out. Fantastic value as they still look brand new after months of use (I use at least one every few days and the full set weekly) I haven’t needed to wash them yet, but the construction tells me that they will be just fine when I do. I’ll likely not put the insulated ones in the dryer, but that’s me being overly cautious.

I really like these. Sadly, the Velcro portions between the bags come unsewn and it doesn't help that every time you separate the bags, it furthers the issue. I had this problem with the last set I bought, but it didn't manifest until over a year of having that set. I've only had this set a couple months and it's already presented the same issue (much sooner than the last). It also seems cheaply made compared to my original set; thinner material, shoddy sewing job.

I absolutely LOVE the Lotus Trolley Bags set. So much so, that I also bought the large club-cart set as well as the produce bags.This company has prevented over 3 million plastic bags from entering the environment. I feel like I am doing my part now too.I typically get anxiety when grocery shopping, especially when it comes to checkout. I cannot express how much these bags have helped reduce my anxiety. I put all my products in the bags while I shop, and when I checkout I simply empty one bag at a time and refill them as I go. I was not expecting to save time by purchasing and using these items, but I truly do each time I shop now.I love the produce bags so much. We have been buying less processed foods as we have made a significant increase in our produce purchases. I felt guilty using plastic produce bags, but I did not like the idea of my fruits and vegetables being loose in a shopping cart. I love that there are several sizes to choose from so I can use them for anything from garlic to oranges to pineapples.One of my produce bags was defective upon receipt of purchase. I reached out to the company directly to ask if I could return it for a replacement. I have never received such quick, respectful, and compassionate customer service. Amanda communicated with me via email and within minutes processed a shipment for a replacement bag. She even let me keep the defective one and sent a couple extra bags as a thank you for my purchases.I will recommend this company to all my friends and family, and I will be purchasing again because they are just that amazing.Thank you Team Lotus!!

I found the rods to long, the bags are too big for most carts. It's an awesome concept but need to revamp the design especially for the price you pay

These work fairly well at Costco with the large open buggy, but are not compatible with a standard grocery store cart. Removing the awkward poles would make them usable just as a bag in that application. Perhaps American store buggy’s are configured differently.
