Bolted right up on my 2024 DR-Z400S. There were no instructions, only a link to some guys youtube channel that shows how to install them. Maybe, at some point you needed to trim these to fit but they seem to have updated the design as I had no fitment issues.

I put these on my drz400 and didn't have to modify them at all. I did have to get creative using spacers to get them to work though and it was a bit of a pain and took way longer than it should have. But they are a good deal and saved my rads several times now in minor tumbles.

While it doesn’t seem to fit, unless I did something wrong, it is not that great. The part on the cover that meets where the plastic bolts into, does not fit real snug and causes rattling when riding…. I did find a way to secure it (modified) but it didn’t look awesome and knowing it was there was bothering me.

Replaced stock plastic radiator “guards”Took 10 minutes a side. 2 bolts hold the radiator on, stock guards literally press out.Used stock hardware for mounts and one included bolt, spacer, and rubber isolator where the radiator shroud normally mounts.No clearance issues at full lock, but I have a SM front fender.Good powder coat, but will see how it holds up. For the price, it’s cheap insurance on radiator damage

Great fit and look for the price, but the install is a bit tricky.. If you watch the video on youtube, it will explain what the extra hardware is for a bit better.

These radiator guards may fit a DRZ400S and SM but they do not fit a drz400e the guard is about a half an inch short of spanning the width of the radiator and the top cut out to get a socket extension in to install the top bolt will not line up

Finally ordered and installed. It took about 10 min or less on each side. Took longer to figure out how to remove the plastic oem than to put on the aluminum shield. All I used was a Philips screw driver to remove original bolts on each side, a 10 mm socket with extension to remove and replace bolt holding the radiator and 5 mm Allen wrench to replace bottom bolt on the shroud, it needs a spacer and longer bolt ( supplied in kit) so shroud doesn’t hit aluminum shield.I would be again for another bike

Product doesn’t fit exact. Hardware that comes with should be 8mm hex head like every other bolt, comes with Allen head. Radiator cap side seems like it needs spacers.
