Does the Job, coupled with K type open juction thermocouples from RS, reasonably accurate, good value for money

Package did not contain the two units as described. Other reviews also do not seem to be factored into the main page showing 4.5 stars

This product works fine. The readings at 1/2 second intervals wiggle around about 0.75 deg C. But the average matches my Fluke 54 right on.The threaded post on my sensor is 6mm.Warning: Arduino users: Do NOT use the Adafruit library with this. It doesn’t work. Use the hardware spi library called “MAX6675 Thermocouple” it shows up in the standard library manager. I suspect this was some of the issues the other negative reviewers had.

This product is falsely advertising a K-Type thermocouple. I did not receive a K Type thermocouple. It's either T or J, and either way does not work with the included MAX6675. The MAX6675 appears to be an okay generic breakout, but will not work with the provided thermocouple. Don't waste your money.

One of the breakout boards did not function at all. The other gave readings that were around 105 F while an Omega HH12A said room temp was 75 F. I tested both boards with both thermocouples and with the Omega's thermocouple, and with two different Arduino sketches, all getting these same results.

One module returned NAN the other returned 0c. Tried swapping the thermocouple but same results. Interestingly one of the modules the actual MAX6675 chip instantly got very hot.

I need two inputs for my project. One Thermocouple Board works, the other does not. I swapped wiring and the problem stayed with the BOARD. I swapped sensors and the problem stayed with the BOARD. One of the two BOARDS is bad. Also, one of the Thermocouple wires is not connected to the spade lug connector correctly, if I move it, the signal goes to either "NAN" (no signal) or maximum which indicates Full Scale Burnout. Pulled the spade lugs off and wired directly to the terminals on the board and the Thermocouple has a solid signal. I will be glad to change my review if a replacement board and replacement Sensor are sent by the supplier.
