I live out in the country and use these to slow cars down near my house. Randomly put two of these on trees about deer eye width and height on trees just in the edge of the woods so they are seen by approaching cars and it’s amazing how much people slow down and drive like they have sense.

These are much smaller than I expected. They are only 1/2 inch in diameter. I was expecting them to be at least twice that size but the seller doesn't actually list the size anywhere on the product details. That being said, they do seem very bright when you shine a flashlight on them and the pack came with lots of them. I think they will work out just fine. They are easy to spot in the dark with a flashlight. I plan to use them to mark some paths on my property and will update this review if I have any issues.

They’re bright and do their job well. Just be warned, the tacs bend easy. So, if you’re putting them into hardwood, expect some of them to go in the trash.

These reflective tacks are very effective in lighting a trail in the dark. I have been using them for years during hunting season to locate stands and blinds in the dark. Stated simply...They Work!The questions ask about "thickness" and "sheerness." I don't see where that applies here. Maybe I am missing something?Mike in Alabama
