Smooth paint quality and the lid/tray is good for mixing. I like the closer on the lid, its solid but not too tight.

It’s a watercolor set that is colorful and fun without breaking the bank. Unfortunately, my order only came with the flat water brush and was missing the pointed round water brush that was advertised to be included. Disappointing that it’s missing a brush. Seems like there are others who have also had this experience.

This is decent quality, hobby or crafter grade, budget-priced watercolor set, in a slimline case good for travel. For $14 you get a lot of useful and fun colors, that quality-wise have brighter colors than Crayola and Prang, but are not as good quality as Cotman or other more costly student versions of well-known established brands that sell pro grade watercolors. The paints activate well, are vivid, and there’s decent balance in color selection. The paint isn’t chalky, and the colors have a uniform almost marker-like clarity and brightness, which is easy for beginners to use. I can see kids and beginners of any age enjoying using this. They remind me of Superior brand watercolors or perhaps Meilang watercolors, but cost less. (If you are an impoverished serious art student, you’re better off buying a small set of better student quality watercolors, like split-primary Cotman tubes or Van Gogh brands.)The small but efficient case has a flat lid that gives you room to blend or water down the paints, and I like it for my purposes.. I went over the mixing area with toothpaste, so that the very slightly roughened surface would allow paints to evenly spread out for mixing. (If you don’t know what I’m talking about, don’t worry.)At the same time, the case is slender, light, and easy to carry. I bought this for those reasons: the slim-line case, the roomy, undivided and flat mixing area of the inside of the lid, and the no-worries price: if something bad happens while traveling around with it, I haven’t lost expensive paints.Recommend for the right buyer!

I like the strength of the pigments. They can be transparent or strong. The palette has every color you could need. Nothing is missing. They are easy to activate. I love them!

The paint in this set blends really well, and the colors also spread on the paper easily. I like the color choices in this palette too, after swatching them it has a good balance of different colors. I originally bought this bc the palette looked slim, and in person it really is! It’s slimmer than a metal tin and I like that it’s more compact in that way. This set comes with some watercolor paper and two water brushes. The brushes are shorter than normal, but you can store it in the palette while it’s put together, which is kinda nice if you want to prefill the brush with water. Overall it’s a really great set!
