The nails are not a true black but more of a brownish black. They work though. I wasn't going to leave a review because I don't want to say anything negative about a small business. However they have contacted me THREE times pressuring me for a review, reaching out to me under false pretenses through Amazon's email system stating there's something wrong with my order MONTHS after I received it to have a way to communicate with me. Today, they contacted me on Thanksgiving and they KNOW it's Thanksgiving because they states Happy Thanksgiving in their email. It's low and inappropriate to contact me on a holiday and try to take advantage of the sentiment of the holiday for business purposes. I'm fed up with the seller.

I bought these nails to use for hanging a bronze metal wall piece that would show the nails. These worked great and looked great with the wall hanging! Just what I was looking for.
