Great little stands at a good price. I have 2 for ukes and 1 for mandolin and recently got the larger one for a guitar. They look better in the house than the metal ones. But if I had a dog with a big, long waggy tail I wouldn’t get them. Might get knocked over.

I ordered this stand for my acoustic guitar, of which it fits perfectly. It’s very sturdy and the stability is great. It’s also very easy to install and put together. The pieces can be taken apart and transported easily due to the small size.

Definitely not a solid wood item, it has the classic vinyl applique with wood grain, over some kind of engineered wood. MDF? Particle board? I don't know, but it does hold my guitar fine.Edit- changing review to one star. I now know what is inside, and it is just paper. How? I lost my balance and lightly stepped on it and it broke. Not really repairable. Oh well.Original review- The reason I bought this is it folds down smaller than any other guitar stand I have been able to find for acoustics, and fits into my small gig case nicely.The improvement I would suggest to the manufacturer, is to not round the bottom so much, instead, have more material on the floor. As designed, the rounded front bottom does not stop a forwards tip over as well as a more squared off design would. Not an absolute deal breaker, but something to be aware of.
