Step:

I’ve been refinishing an old tiger oak dresser. Some areas of veneer were chipped. I decided to fill them and attempt to get the spots to match. My wood filler was lighter than the wood. Using this repair kit, I found it best to start at the dark base color and work my way up lighter to try to best match the overall color. It does dry fast. But for my timing, the next day I came with a tiny tiny narrow line paintbrush, and using at least 7 colors, I worked on adding wood grain look finish to the painted areas. I’m not a pro at this, but I do think this turned out well. Obviously up close you can see a difference. The variety of colors the kit included was super helpful. I’d say they’re good quality paints. They do have a satin finish to them; I kinda wish I could pick a more matte finish/depending on my project needs.Overall this set was easy to use and worked great for my old oak, stained a natural color.
