Well it really doesn’t snow on the Ms. Gulf Coast but WTH it did last week! I originally ordered these for going out on the water during the winter because the cold damp weather is brutal. But haven’t been out yet!Needless to say for the very first time in my life it snowed almost 8 inches & below freezing temperatures.Needless to say I was very warm, comfortable in these wool long johns. The size fits well and even though I’ve only washed them ,turned inside out on gentle cycle, once no pilling. And I also received a pair of wool socks with my order. I’m very pleased with this purchase!

These are super cute, flattering for curves, very warm (I was actually sweating on a cold day on the slopes), and an amazing price - a whole set and socks for less than just a top or bottom wool base layer by the big brands. I’ve washed twice and so far it’s holding up well. I do not find it itchy. I was tempted to order a size up, being a curvy person, but it was form fitting without being tight at my usual size. Order up if you want it loose.

I have wildly mixed feelings about this set.Summary: These are comfy and warm, and they look fantastic until the snags start. Unfortunately, the snags start early and just keep comin’.Pros:I love the fit and feel, both under clothes for warmth and/or wearing the zip top as a normal shirt. I’m a 5’6” size 8-10, and the medium fit perfectly top and bottom. The design also helped smooth out my curvier areas visually, which was a nice bonus. And these are warm, warm, warm, which is what I was after. The thumb hole on the top helps spread the warmth.Cons:The snagging… ugh. The fabric snags constantly on anything. I wear lots of knit wool and I’ve never had this issue. Initially, I would fix the pulls by pulling the loop to the backside and smoothing the surrounding area, but it was too much and too often to keep up with.Another semi-con is the way the Adeptwool logo is bold and stiff on both the top and bottom. It’s applied well, but definitely screams out in blinding white and doesn’t really work for wearing as a top layer.I’ve worn the heck out of these as pajamas and a base layer for a few months now, but gave up fixing all the pulls and snags that happened every time I wore them. If I weren’t sleeping solo, I probably wouldn’t even wear them to bed since the dozens of pulls and snags make them look grungy. If it weren’t for the snagging, I’d be buying several sets of these. They’re a fair price, very warm, long enough at legs and arms, and look fantastic… until they don’t.

I wanted base layer that wouldn’t break the bank. I was nervous these wouldn’t cut it because the price seemed too good to be true. But it wasn’t! They are warm, and thin enough it could go under jeans or many top layers without feeling like I was suffocating. I was in Iceland for 3 weeks and these did an amazing job. They also came with the warmest pair of black socks (bonus gift)

These are an excellent set of base layers. Comfortable, warm, soft & thin - yet durable (at least so far). Only complaint is that these seem to run a bit small. I normally run between a m/l - the large is a bit tight. Not unwearable, but would be if they shrunk at during washing. Also these are not for tall/lankier people. I am about average length (arms & legs), but the sleeves are tad short to use the thumb holes & the leggings end about 4 inches from my ankle bone. Not ideal for a base layer, but not terrible. The top is a good length, endign jsut at the butt.

These fit perfect and were so soft. I wore them to a spring trip to Scotland and Ireland and the bottoms fit under my jeans perfectly. Not to bulky. I was happy with the tight weave and the quality of the material. I was concerned that they may be itchy due to being wool, but they were not. Super soft.I bought my sister a pair and she enjoyed hers too. I highly recommend.

I love the feel of the fabric and also the look.( 240 WAVE) I bought both size small and extra small. The extra small to wear under and the small size to wear over clothes, depending on how cold I am. The size small is a bit baggie but works if I wear leggings under. I love the free socks as well, perfect feel and they are crew so easy to get on and off. I like the zip up turtle neck, makes it easy to get on and off . On the extra small the waist is a bit snug but the fabric is very giving so it is do able.I am over 75 and my waist is almost the same as my hips and my legs are skinny so between the two sizes I could make it work. I always wear something between my skin and the merino wool so I don't have to launder it as much.I also think they are made well🥰I would take a picture because I think it is really stylish but I don't know how to or I would😜

Planning Alaska trip 2/1/23 for 20 days. I agonized over spending so much on this set.(pricy for me) but seriously considering buying another set. Will be a great base layer or pajamas. So soft and the fit was perfect.Follow upI did order another set and lived in them for 20 days. Literally. Used as a base layer, pajamas, and top as a mid layer on occasion. Absolutely the best clothing purchase I made for my trip.I live in Georgia, so it’ll be a minute before I wear them again, but I totally recommend Adept Wool clothing.
