Description lists 4 as the total number of latches picture shows 4 latches. Only 2 latches were in the single box I received. Will be returning.

If your door or hatch is more than 1/4 inch thick you will have to buy longer screws. Absolutely ridiculous.

There is no directions on how to install. I have a half inch door, I cannot figure out how these would install on a 1/2” door, the screws are too short to go through the back plate and the door. Would need a hole the size of the latch through the door, and a larger hole through the back of the door to sink the back plate.Also the space from front plate to latch is about 1”, so it seems to fit 1/2” door over 1/2” face frame.I see some say they are for a specific thickness of door, but I don’t see anything like that on this product.Please tell me how to install? What size hole through the door, what size counter sink for the back play,Should I have a different size back play? Should I have a different product? I wish it stated for ‘x’ door thickness?1 star do to lack of instructions.

I’m happy with the catches, but having a template to know where to cut the hole would be really helpful. Although I cut the hole in the wrong place, I was able to carve out the frame enough to make it work.

The screws too small. Used in 3/4 in doors and had to buy longer screws. So far working fine.
